It was luxury, brand-new and with fridge.

Huge new-fashioned rooms.

The indoor pool was appealing, but the room cleanliness was inconsistent.

The room was huge and immaculate, had essentials, like a shower, a hairdryer and terry dressing gowns. The location was magnificent and decent, next to the Algarve.

Staff always very attentive and reasonably good!

Just about everyting, but especially the 'extra' touches and attention to detail such as 1. a birthday cake and sparkiling wine provided (as a surprise) to one of our party on his birthday and 2. the provision of a breakfast picnic bag on day of departure because we were missing breakfast. Also, the staff were excellent in every respect

The hotel is a €9/10 taxi ride from the main night life and shopping in the Marina at Villamoura; though this is not necessarily a bad thing

The hotel is stunningly beautiful and absolutely fantastic, has pleasant stuff from reception to maintenance and managers. A superior king room has basic facilities you need. The restaurant in the venue is great for breakfast and dinner.

Such poor breakfast, it should be better.

This was a well-suited match for a lightning trip in Vilamoura with good value. The breakfast was excellent and the room large and clean. Taxi to the marina is only 10 euros, easy for a dinner night out.

Wonderful surroundings, close enough to Vilamoura Marina (5 mins in a taxi) but far enough away to enjoy the quietness of the surrounding area and a refreshing breeze due to being situated on the hill. Garden Villa's are wonderful, plenty of space and extremely clean. Fabulous breakfasts and lovely staff.

Pool area could have been cleaned a little more comprehensively at the end of each day, however, we were there during the school holidays resulting in the pool side being extremely busy.

This was the second time we had stayed at this hotel following a very pleasant stay in August 2010. Since then the hotel has changed ownership. It's still a nice place to stay - very relaxing - no hassle finding a sunbed around the pool - very helpful staff etc. Would recommend to anyone.

Some things need refurbishing eg the dining room furniture upholstery which we thought was looking a bit worn and shabby last year. Pestana need to increase the frequency of the shuttle bus to and from Vilamoura. There certainly needs to be some sort of service in the evening. You might also benefit from providing an electric vehicle (golf buggy) shuttle service to Oscars/Supermarket/Bank for a nominal fee - it's a leisurely 25 minute walk and people do like a change of scenery. Our main complaint would be that our hotel room wasn't cleaned on the day before we left. We returned to our room at 3.30pm and nothing had been done. We made the bed ourselves and replaced our towels etc. We did complain to the reception staff who were most apologetic.

loved the rooms large cosy bed and huge bathroom. great comfort.

the only drawback is that it costs ten euro each way in and out of marina, too far to walk. no resturants near by.oh and no spa either.

I specially liked the lobby and other common parts of the hotel. Lots of space and a nice decoration and landscape.

My room was not big (in opposition to the bathroom which was huge).The dinner buffet is a little too expensive.
